教会の歴史 Brief history
野方町教会は1935年（昭和10年）、数名の婦人を中心として始められた阿佐ヶ谷教会（東京・杉並区）の家庭集会を源流とします。37年（同12年）5月8日、最初の礼拝を行い、教会としての歩みを開始しました。その後、41年（同16年）に日本基督教団設立に伴い、日本基督教団野方町教会となりました。以後、中野区野方の地で宣教のわざを続けてまいりました。2017年に創立80周年を迎え、新たな歩みを始めました。
Nogatamachi Church originated in 1935 when a group of women from nearby Asagaya Church (Suginami-ku) started to hold small group meetings at a private home where the church is currently located. The home became a church when the first Sunday service was officially held two years later, on May 8. The church became a member of The United Church of Christ in Japan (UCCJ) — the largest Protestant denomination in the country — upon its foundation in 1941. Nogatamachi Church has been spreading the word of God in the community ever since. The church commemorated the 80th anniversary of its foundation in 2017.
現在、子ども、若者から高齢者までキリスト者である人もない人も、数十年通っている人も今日初めての人も、一つの群れとなって礼拝を捧げています。
